For the most part Kesler is off more then on against tough teams. Nobody is arguing that he isn't a good player, but he racks up a lot more points and accolades against weak teams then strong teams. But he's never been consistent when it matters.
In the Cup final year he was very good for nearly a round and a half but fell apart as he got closer to the cup.
He's had a good half game in this series.
He's not getting younger and he just looks like a player thats physically breaking down, the Canucks really need to move him this summer.

Not sure why they would trade Kessler? Top 6 centers do not grow on trees. He is the only physical center they have in the system.
He dives a lot, but i put that blame on the Sedin sisters for introducing that to the environment. My bet if he was on another team, that the new team would not allow it and he would stop doing it. Get rid of the diving and i would love for him to be a flame.
