Yeah, Lazars situation is reminiscent of Iginla in junior. The Oil Kings are stocked with a lot of good veteran guys which puts him down the depth chart. I can't imagine too many true 17 year olds have scored 35+ goals in the WHL in the past 10 years.
Logan Couture was once rated as one of the Sharks worst draft picks in their draft preview. Despite never being a great offensive producer he has become a good offensive producer at the NHL level and good two player.
