This reminds me of a friend who decided to try bow hunting for deer one year. He chased this poor deer over a long distance, shooting a large number of arrows into it, until one of the arrows managed to hit a fatal part of his body. The poor deer finally dropped, looking like a pin cushion. Needless to say, the experience was so traumatic for both he and the deer, that he never hunted with a bow again.

I think it takes a lot of experience, skill and patience to successfully hunt with a bow. And a person really has to know what he is doing.
