Well, we did have a franchise centre an in Martin St. Louis, but unfortunately, we didn't realize it.
I tend to favour keeping and using the 2 late 1st round picks in hopes of getting a couple of solid building blocks for 2-3 years down the road. I'm starting to fear they might be 29 and 30, however.
I agree it's unlikely someone will trade down. We'd be very lucky if we got a "franchise" player drafting 6th, but we should still be able to get a very good one.
