Ah, armchair crash investigation at its finest.

How do you know he didn't do his job correctly? What if a strap failed on its own and as a result the remaining ones failed causing the cargo shift?

On some other forums it is being discussed how often the USAF recalls cargo straps (this from USAF personnel) that do not meet the failure limits. So equipment malfunction could be just as much a cause as a loadmaster not doing the job properly. Or how about runaway trim?
