Lost was better at its zenith, and they both were equally mediocre during their final seasons. Seasons 6 and 7 of 24 were wretched (with season six being pretty much unwatchable).

It probably wouldn't have even been a big decision for me if the series finale of Lost hadn't been such a horrific lame-duck cop-out. Just terrible.
