The Flames were no longer a fit for Iginla, and Iginla was no longer a fit for the Flames because they no longer met each others needs. People need to stop looking at Iggy's comments, or the Flames comments and trying to figure out if it was a shot against the other, or try to figure out "did Iggy like it here".
Of course he liked it here, he was here for what, 17 years. But as of right now, he didn't like it here because the relationship wasn't right for both and he moved on. Now both are happier and better off moving forward, nothing more to it.

This right here echos my view precisely. Some people are reading way too much into Iggy's comments. They're looking way too hard for hidden meaning when there aren't any IMO. You guys need to relax.
Anywho, good for Iginla, and good for the Flames. I'll be cheering Iggy on for that cup. A Kings / Pens final would be fantastic!
