I almost fell asleep watching that Draft Lottery on TSN. The worst part was there wasn't really any suspense since whenever Bill Daly opens the envelope you can see the team right away. I am glad the Oilers didn't win the lottery but was dissapointed that the team that pretty much tanked all their remaining games won it. I don't think Colorado deserves to win that lottery because of the way they conduct late in the season. For the team with so much talent up front especially, seeing them lose those remaining games makes me sick. I am not a big fan of JS Giguere but when he lambasted the whole team after their lost to Calgary, i started getting respect with the guy. I think he was the only player in that team that cares about winning even though they were out of contention. I am glad the Calgary Flames organization was not that shallow as the Avalanche, Nashville and Oilers management for trying to let the team be competitive in their last few games. The reason they lost to St. Louis and Chicago in their last two games was because those two teams are much, much better than them. I sure hope whoever Colorado pick on the NHL Draft becomes the next Alexander Daigle and Brian Lawton of all the first pick overall .... a BUST!!
