It's definitely a chicken and egg argument, and both sides contribute to the other. And they'll spiral with each other too, up or down, possible making a average coach look amazing, and making a good coach look bad.
But I do think Bylsma is one of the top coaches. And as ma-skis says, it's not just his record, I think I saw this on 24/7 too.
The same argument was often used with Bowman. But I would argue that he was a great coach too.
