Maybe we can get a poll?
So here's the deal: Would you be in favour of the Flames trading their
1st, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th round picks, along with Pittsburgh's 1st, to the Colorado Avalanche for the
1st Overall pick, and selecting Nathan MacKinnon.
The fact is: The Flames have not had a true #1C for nearly 20 years. All reports seem to suggest MacKinnon is a franchise #1C years.
Is it worth trading the chance of achieving at best 3-5 secondary players in order to get that 1C piece?
(For those who do not follow the NFL the thread title is a reference to the famous trade for Ricky Williams: )
Quote:
the trade was a blockbuster.
