You do realize that some of the best players in the world have come from other countries right? Just because past administrations for the Flames have avoided them like the plague, plenty of other teams have capitalized.

He drafted from everywhere. He got NHLers out of big bodies from the CHL. I think, you don't take a risk, you pick the next forward or defender from North America. Nurse and Monahan are the guys. I'd say, based on who managed to make the bigs out of our system we should go with one of them.
