In your mind, how does this go down? Are all 30 teams in on it, and agree who will be handed the #1 pick? Why go through the charade of a lottery at all?
Do you really think that the owners would sign off on something like that that could be a multi-million dollar swing in the value of their own teams? Or, do you believe this is being orchestrated from behind the scenes completely fraudulently by Bettman and his minions? In nearly 20 years, don't you think someone would have blown the whistle on that?

Of course I think it's rigged and I will always believe that. Crosby was handed over to Pittsburgh to save their franchise.
Why else would they not show the actual draw?
