Depending on how long you're looking to keep this car - IMHO - , you're wasting money if you're looking to have a family and get into a compact car. The vast majority (not all) of people want more room for strollers and rear car seats. No point shelling out for a new car only to have to eat depreciation 3-4 years later when you curse the size of your car and want something bigger.
