Going to an average or 25 games per season for the last decade, I have learned to tune out shootouts.
15 home
goals is ridiculous, that's an average of 2 per season...and less than 1 win per season...but there ends up only being 4 or 5 games per season.
I seriously can't recall the last home shootout win. Off the top of my head, I can remember two home shootouts that stick out...preseason when Fleury scored the winner and when Bertuzzi did a spin-o-rama on Luongo but hit the post.
I have a pretty good memory, but the bank is empty when trying to recall shooutout highlights from the 'Dome.
A quick search and found one of the rare 6 home wins and 15 goals....with the smooth soothing Sportsnet voice of Roger Millions on the call....over 5 years ago.
Here's Kipper's first ever...some emotion from Kipper, and a Brad Stuart and Andrei Zyuzin sighting! Iginla with the winner. 6 years ago.
Here's the 3rd win...vs Columbus. Bertuzzi with a sweet move and some sweet hands for the winner.
So there's, on video, half the Flames shootout wins at home, and 3 of the 15 goals, since October 2005. Not surprising then that I don't recall the last one or many of them.
