Yet you jump on people for sharing their thoughts or asking questions about specific players. Something isn't right there.
I'll admit that I haven't seen much of any of the players except for world juniors and some YouTube clips. Not great scouting tools. I do tend to recognize certain trends in hype about players and they concern me. The hype on Monahan is reminiscent of the hype Scott Glennie got in his draft year. Interestingly enough they are slated to go in the same range. I'm not going to say that Monahan is going to be a Scott Glennie - he has to prove that himself - but I am seeing the hype train building to where this kid is going to have trouble living up to expectations.
