Florida - Jones. Florida needs pretty much everything and Jones is commonly rated #1.
Colorado - MacKinnon. They'll beg and plead Florida for the first pick I think, but if they can't, my money is them acquiring a RW capable MacKinnon to play on a line with their two other lottery ranked picks.
Tampa Bay - Nickushkin. This is my slightly off the board pick. Yzerman has shown time and time again he's not afraid to play risky games with his 1sts. Connolly, Koekkoek, and Vasilevski all attest to that. Two injuries and the "Russian" factor that scares everyone.
Nashville - Drouin. No thought needed there.
Carolina - Barkov. Absolutely dominant in SM-liiga already. I can't see Carolina passing him up.
Calgary - Monahan. He represents about everything the Flames need: Size, centre, faceoffs, two-way talent.
Edmonton - Nurse. The rebuild up north continues with the Oilers finally realizing the need someone to play defence.
Buffalo - Lindholm. No the need of Buffalo's, but there's a decent from from Linholm to the next group. Wouldn't shock me if they traded down a few spots.
NJ - Ristolainen. Aging defence and their prospects outside Larsson aren't great.
Dallas - Wennberg. The departure of Morrow left a bit of a hole on their forwards. Wennberg in a few years could probably fill that void.
