I thought it was there for the taking, which makes Sagna's antics even more frustrating. However, I think it may have worked out for the best as it is probably easier to contend with a United team trying to get a winner than a United team that just got a rollicking at half-time and are now motivated to come from behind.
Nevertheless, Jenko has to start the next match as a message needs to be sent. It is a bit difficult to imagine that a player who has been so committed and led the charge against 'The Enemy' last year is looking so ragged at the moment. Do we re-sign him over the summer or just run down the contract and hope for the best next year?
