Players aren't drafted based on their stats. It really doesn't matter whether Barkov plays in Sweden, Finland, or Russia. If there are issues of transition, they are the same issues for players coming from all those leagues.
Some countries' junior systems produce better talent than others in general, but that doesn't mean anything when you're watching an individual player and evaluating his personal talent.
Zero chance of Granlund being a bust. Mike Yeo has just been coaching with his butt clenched all season long and couldn't give him time to adjust in the top-6. They might be suffering from that now that some of the veterans who lack game breaking skill are screwing up plays in the middle of the ice.
