The Flames have a good selection of depth (bottom-six) forwards with character and leadership potential and bottom-pairing defensemen with same.
Baertschi, Brodie and Gaudreau are their main "skill" players. You can maybe lump Jankowski in that group as well.
But they've moved leaps and bounds over the last two years of drafting/signing.
