I like Simmer, but is he ever actually making reference to some prior statement when he uses "and again"? I feel that it's simply his default introduction to a sentence.

"And again honey, please pass the sweet potatoes."

"And again, holy ####, I'm about to be hit by a van."

"And again, and again."

"And...and again?"
