We currently have six top NINE wingers that would be ahead of him on the depth chart signed for next season:
1. Cammalleri
2. Tanguay
3. Hudler
4. Glencross
5. Stempniak
6. Baertschi
So, let's say we trade one of the above listed wingers away, and re-sign Cervenka to take his spot as a top nine winger.
Fine by me, get an asset for the traded winger, and hopefully Cervenka can continue to show improvement at the NHL level.
It doesn't do anything to address the size/physicality/toughness/defensive ability concerns we have though.
