Believe it or not, we have run studies and test runs of various boarding methods. In the end we still get stumped by people being slow and standing in the aisles for too long. Not to mention how many people don't follow the instructions on who boards when. If you travel regularly you know what I am talking about.
Same thing deplaning. But yelling at the 80 year old who can't remember where they put their carry on while standing in the middle of the aisle is apparently another kind of bad customer service.
It's like complaining about people people who don't merge properly slowing down traffic. You can complain all you want, but it is always going it happen it seems.
