Do we really think that the Islanders want to add another long term goalie contract? However, they just might be dumb enough to take on Luongo
Florida will definitely be interested in acquiring one of the talked about goalies.
New Jersey - it depends on what Brodeur does. He's signed one more year, and his cap hit cannot come off. Brodeur comes back, no room for Luongo.
Brodeur doesn't come back, they will need a goalie, but cap hit reserved for goalies becomes an issue.
Nashville has Rinne, and would have to move him out, which I doubt they do.
Minnesota will be looking for a goalie if they lose backstrom for sure, but they already have a lot of long term money tied up. Adding Luongo would mean that they would have $20 million signed for the 2021-2022 season.
Philly simply cannot afford to add Luongo in this offseason. They are going to have to buy out and trade just to get under the cap. - and they would also have to unload Byrzgalov.

Nashville was a mistake not sure how they got on that list.
I think NYI could add him because the real money goes down and they need to get to salary floor each year.
Philly was a bit of a wildcard and did mention they would have to make moves but I see both them and NJ as being creative and willing to make big moves.
There was talk of Brodeur not coming back this year so perhaps he retires this offseason or Lou realizes he has no replacement and can get Luongo for dirt cheap.
