From a Chicago fan POV, there is hope that Q scratches some regulars tonight and tommorrow (vs. St. Loo)...I expect Hossa, Sharp, Crawford and Keith to sit tonight...I don't want Backes slapping around Toews tommorrow, so hopefully, Toews, Kane, Seabrook, Sharp and Crawford grab bench on Saturday (vs. a more physical Blues team (with a dirtbag Backes, who took a few runs at Toews in the last meeting)).

With Emery battling a groin issue, I wouldn't be surprised to see Carter Hutton make an NHL debut tonight, in the 'Hawks' goal.

A game with nothing on the line, this game probably will look like a non-contact practice...so I expect a lot of scoring chances to be traded.

For 'Hawk fans, the shortened season has been a thrilling sprint...and at this point, player health going into the playoffs is far more important than on ice performance in these last two games for us.

As a Cub fan, I can sympathise with Flame fans, and the dissapointment of an underperforming home team, and the difficulty of watching yet another failed season. Unlike the Cubs, I expect the Flames will be able to improve in the 2013-14 campaign...In baseball, quick turnarounds via the draft almost never occur...in Hockey, there is, at least, hope.

I see that many of you Flame fans are picking my guys tonight, and I wonder if it is a "fail to get better draft" position hopes. I disagree with a team tanking...for the Cubs it is a "cursed franchise" thing, and they have shown no ability to improve via any means, anyway...for the 'Hawks, getting Toews and Kane in consecutive drafts wasn't really due to players tanking on ice, but rather, an inept organization from top to bottom...I am shocked that those drafts even yielded anything, as the 'Hawk draft history had never inspired confidence before in the team history.

Bottom line, I am not really sure what my Flame friends hope for in this season ending game...but I expect it to be more of a loosely played scrimmage with a rook goaltender than a tightly played, competative, contest, and predicting a final score in the game is going to be a most inaccurate science...I just expect a lot of goals for both teams
Eh, Flames already went through that story with Nashville. Second tier hockey. Even the Bhawks B squad is probably a decent NHL team anyway.
