Watching it slowly frame by frame, Pominville's arm pushes Brown's glove, and stick pushes stick which has to have some impact to Brown's elbow coming up & out. Meanwhile Pominville's skate also hits Brown's skate causing him to lean, and then to top if off Pominville falls and his head ends up right at the level of Brown's elbow.
