Agreeing with FDW and his answer to Cali Flames Fan. It is the dual effect; lower finish for the blues means tougher first round series in theory and better pick for us if they lose that series.

Do a couple of positions matter to us? maybe, maybe not. But they might matter to someone that will give up something of value to have us drop a spot or two. I guess what I am saying is that all other things being equal, the higher the draft pick the better for the flames. That's how I think of it.
