See they do if someone pre-books the exit row seat. Ok, that is fine.
But before when you checked in and the seat was not pre-booked, you can select it free if no one is sitting there.
Now when you check in, you have to pay $45 if you want to select that seat, even if it was not pre-booked. Yes, that was $45 on a $250 one way ticket to GP.
