Want to know why Westjet flight attendants are always so happy? Because they aren't sitting in your seat with your knees crammed into your chest.
This airline has decided to run itself right into the toilet. I will not be flying with them by choice again (have to for work).
This is the 3rd time that I have found myself aboard one of their aircrafts with their new "seating structure". As someone who is 6'4, I cannot physically sit in a normal sitting position while in one of their regular seats. I have to turn my legs outward because there is not enough room. If the girl infront of me during the flight had decided to put her seat back, I would've had to c*nt punt someone.
It wouldn't be so amazingly terrible if I could actually select an exit row seat - but no, they now have an additional charge for the privledge of sitting in the exit row, as well as their first 4 rows of "normal class". They are charging money for the GD exit row. I can't believe it.
For those of you who have not sat in the first 4 rows of a Westjet plane yet, you probably have, but you just don't remember it. It was about 15 years ago when airlines actually gave you that much legroom / seat room normally.
Add in to the fact that their inflight entertainment system is terrible / usually out of service.
Don't fly this airline if you have a choice. Fly Air Canada (I never thought I would say these words).
