Easy to say not having a microphone shoved in your face after a bad loss. Perhaps he should have taken the higher road but I can honestly say always having to answer questions when you really don't want to, being asked stupid questions at that I would likely say some pretty "mean" things as well.

Some people are just trying to make a mountain from a mole hill with this. What he said really was no worse than what a lot of other hockey interviews have yielded over the years and this is only a "story" because it was with a woman. Had he been as "rude" to a male reporter everyone would likely have had a laugh and forgot about it 10 seconds later.

I still think he should have just stared at her with a raised eyebrow, looking at her like she had literally just said the most ignorant, idiotic thing ever uttered in a hockey interview and not said a single word. Would have made for a great youtube clip.
