In the context of these two events things are looking bleak for our education system. I don't desire a thread about teachers, I am wondering what people think about the current board and trustees. There is an election coming up and I really hope people pay attention to the trustees they vote for. Don't just check of the name you recognize from last year. Your children are going to school in the largest, most diverse, most demanding classes in years. Teachers are loosing jobs like crazy and funding is literally dropping upwards of 30% in schools while the people downtown take raises. This needs to be addressed.
