Agree, at this point Granlund is better served in the AHL. The smaller ice surface adjustment is a key factor. Also needs to play North American style hockey as well before he can make the jump. I do not assume that the trainers in Finland suck but it would be beneficial if Granlund also spent the summer here training the the Flames trainers and collaborating with the Flames close at hand for the rest of his development phase.
