Not trying to become a police officer. huh?

And the police are not above the law. I have never said that. The Canadian criminal code and other legislative acts outline what the powers of a peace officer are. Perhaps some of you people should learn what a police officers powers are instead of crying police brutality everytime you see them having to use force to arrest someone.

You know, like, actually have a basis for an opinion instead of talking out of your ass.

One more time for the slow people in this thread, WHEN a police officer is giving you an order, ("get down" "put hands behind your back") And a person doesn't comply, they are allowed to use force to arrest someone. It is not a negotiation, you don't get to argue with them, do what they say or expect them to use some force against you, it's not a court of law. They have power under the law to perform their jobs, no matter how much you people don't like it doesn't make it not true.

Yes it appeared he was excessive, and was reprimanded for it. Again please do some research into what the powers of a peace officer are.
