I just don't get how anyone can say Wideman was great this year unless you had low expectations for him in the first place? He is paid to be a top scoring Dman and he is up there so a good year. The thing is he doesn't have 2 more points and is not in the top 10.
It is like saying the Flames had 5 more shootout/OT wins they make the playoffs last year and reach there goals and had a good season. They didn't so they missed the playoffs and the season was a failure by the Flames standards but they were only 5pts out and still had 90pts.
