That time of year is around the corner and I am just about to apply for the Calgary Stampede again. Last year I worked at the main Stampede gate entrance and it was terrible. Standing around all day in black jeans, having to hand out maps and stamp people and interact with everyone. Plus I made like minimum wage and ended up only making like $800 bucks thru 10 days.

I'm 18 now so I am considering trying to work a day shift at the Big Rig bar on the stampede grounds serving beer, or something else that lets me serve alcohol so maybe I can get tips. I don't wanna end up with a crappy job like last year, and I want to make well over a grand this time.

Any advice guys?
