They want more photos and information that will help them with their investigation (eye witness accounts, names of people in photos etc). Bingo, the wider audience the photos get the quicker the people will be identified. The FBI clearly stated people should not post the identity of the people in the photos on the internet, and even 4chan and Reddit have rules saying the same thing.
