I put my initial posts in spoiler tags as I bumped the thread from page 3; however I think we are OK to talk about it now.

So Monroe now has a nuclear bomb. That brings me to a couple of big questions:
- Could you operate a nuclear bomb with no electronics? Assuming there is some way the nuclear reaction could work (I don't know how nuclear bombs work)- how would you detonate it? Some sort of fuse? Or would you have to sacrifice one of the pendants?
- Isn't one of the side effects of a nuclear blast an EMP? Seeing the blackout is being caused by nanoprobes; would they be disabled by the EMP? Would that restore power to an area; at least temporarily?
Considering that the firing of a nuclear weapon uses precisely timed electronically fired explosive triggers and that in order for that to happen, the bomb almost has to have a precise altimeter that tells it when the explosion needs to happen, I don't think you can do it without electricity unless your willing to sit there and precisely calculate the lengths of several hundred fuses and then sit in the bomb and light them all at the same . . .

Never mind, I haven't started watching the show since the mid break but have the last four episodes recorded, it almost sounds like its too stupid to blow 4 hours on.
