I think he has been exactly what he should be. He goes out, talks to fans, from personal experience and many other accounts, he always makes time to speak with anybody who wants to speak with him.
If you hire a guy like Burke, a) he is going to stick his hands into the hockey side, whether that's good or bad, I am on the fence about and b) he is a grumpy old man, I highly doubt you would see him walking the concourse in let's say Columbus (where I met, chatted for ten minutes and had my picture taken with Ken King) and greeting and chatting with fans.

It will interesting to see who replaces King if the rumor is true. There seems to be a lot of CP support for a real hockey guy like JD or Burke, yet lots of complaints about the president allegedly meddling in hockey operations. Do people expect a hockey guy president to be more involved in hockey operations?
The more I think of it Feaster would be a great president - he's got the people/PR skills and sees himself as much or more a people manager than a hockey guy. I could see him letting go control of hockey decisions fairly easily.
Edit: It would also be graceful way to acknowledge that while Feaster has done some good (considering organization not just player moves) he's not the right GM for the next phase.
