Ken King has done more to rejuvenate the image of the Flames in the community than he gets a lot of credit for. I met the guy when once when I went to a STH meeting a few years back and I have to say he's a great people person & his business knowledge is excellent.
He genuinely wanted to bring the Cup to Calgary and I think everything he has done has been with that end goal in mind.
His best move was to bring Darryl Sutter in as coach. Worst move was allowing Darryl to relinquish coaching duties & stay on as only GM. Darryl lost the plot with most of the moves late in his tenure, but no one knows how much culpability King had in those disastrous deals.
