With all the descriptions about Mackinnon I can't help bit draw comparisons to Taylor hall: that reckless north south style. The difference being that mackinnon takes faceoffs. Whereas with drouin, he's sounding like an upgraded version of eberle, perhaps with more potential. Plus the fact that he's a playmaker, instead of a shoot first player like Mackinnon, makes me believe that he's much easier to build around. Obviously they can't go wrong with either, but I'd love to see the flames pick drouin and maybe trade up to get a guy like Monahan as well. If not, then target gauthier with the STL pick and then take a chance on another centre like klimchuk with the PIT pick.
