The CHL he looked great after being drafted. He looked like a leader on the CHL ice when he was asked to. During Kootenay's run in 2010-2011, he was a huge reason for their run. Behind Lieuwen, an older goalie, McNabb, who's always been considered a huge part of their team (and is nipping at a position in Buffalo. I swear he'd be there to take Leopold's spot if he wasn't injured), and Eakin, another player showing NHL potential, he was probably one of the biggest reasons they made it so far. McNabb and Eakin left after, which left a massive hole in the roster. But to Reinhart's credit, basically he, his brother, and Lieuwen carried the team to the 8th spot in the WHL. I say all things considered, he did a good job at the CHL level for a 3rd ranked pick.
The AHL was an adjustment. The stats show that there has been a recent upturn in his offensive abilities. PMM seemed to absolutely love him. Maybe it was just he was PMM's favourite or he plays the type of game he likes, but there was a lot of gushing over him in the Backburner forum. I don't get the feeling he was merely a "meh" player there either. Just one that needed to learn the ropes and was willing to learn.

Don't get your panties in a knot, his AHL stats are "meh" compared to what I've seen in him so far on the big club, looks dangerous and makes great plays almost every shift. All I mean is he plays
far better with NHL players than AHL players...it happens.
