Great win by the Flames! Really wanted them to get this one after that debacle here on home ice.
Kids looked great tonight. Shultz really is a mess in his own zone - coughed up the puck and Calgary capitalized.
Aliu I thought played a pretty good game. Very physical, but never went over the edge. Flames were leading most of the game - not the time to be an agitator and perhaps give the other team to wake up. Smart game by him tonight.
I thought Carson played alright for the limited time I noticed him... which wasn't much. No idea how many minutes he got, but he didn't look bad at all.
Street was fairly unnoticeable (but not in a bad way at all) with the exception of his drive to the net. I can't really get a read on this kid - maybe he is NHL material, maybe not.. but he definitely wasn't bad.

I really like Backlund's game, and see him becoming a MUCH more dangerous and effective player as he gets some more 'man strength' and size. I really believe he is just a slow developer, but he is a smart player out there. Does a lot of things so well.
Baertschi was great tonight. Horak was a beast in his own zone and at puck possession. Our defence didn't make too many mistakes.
Also, I must add...
Brodie looked WAY better than Shultz tonight. Moved the puck better, better defensively.. I thought he was the best defencemen on the ice for either team. His progression is simply amazing. I am STARTING to think that he could really become a very good top-pairing defencemen. The guy is just so smart and just... awesome out there.
The best thing... the booing from the fans. Flames fans booed the Flames before, and they wanted change - namely a rebuild I think. What are the Edmonton fans hoping for? Rebuild #1 ala Chicago? Tanking is no way to build success.
