Hopefully he recovers fully so his quality of life after hockey is not affected. Beyond that, it's probably best for everyone involved that he's off the roster for the rest of the season. He can do some soul-searching after a disappointing season and determine whether he wants to commit staying here. And the Flames can continue the auditions.
