I get the losing mentallity, I don't have any respect for the whole losing on purpose mentality. for years we laughed and looked in disgust at the Oilers, now we're advocating.
I'd be happy with the Flames getting a top pick, but not at the cost of the franchises integrity and the fans integrity.

, but the 2004 Flames are irrelevant - that was pre-cap and pre-parity (dollar). Last year's Kings are the worst thing that could have happened for the Flames - these buffoons now have an excuse for always being mediocre - "just need to get in and anything can happen".
