I saw a girl doing it the other day too. I was going 110 on the 100km/h Stoney. She was riding my ass and I was not letting her by. As I checked the rear view, I saw her constantly checking her phone. I braked to a full stop in the fast lane of Stoney (obviously not the smartest idea), got out of the car and screamed at her to put her efin phone away. I know I scared the crap out of her but didn't care at all.
A few days before that (it's been a busy week) I was almost through a playground zone when I saw the car behind me catch up to me very quickly, clearly not doing 30km/h. Again, slammed the breaks. Jumped out and walked back to him. Asked if he knew he blew through a playground school and then chewed him out because he still had his phone IN his hand even as I approached the car.
I'm a hypocrite, because I drive fast sometimes, and even check my phone if I'm at a red light, but for some reason, and I don't know why, I go nuts when I see someone texting while driving.

Although you admitted it wasnt a smart idea, I'll reinforce the fact that stopping completely on a freeway, in the fast lane, is not only really stupid but incredibly dangerous. To you, her and all the other drivers on the road. I get that tailgating and texting while driving is dumb already, but somebody have some common sense!
And for the other situation, you already noticed the driver in the playground zone wasn't paying attention so you go ahead and slam on your breaks? Yikes. That's not vigilante justice, that's a total lapse in judgement.
