EDIT: more examples (in the US) in the link Red Mile posted above... if kids didn't have cell phones, texting, facebook and twitter (i.e. like back when I was a teen), would things like this still be happening?

I don't think kids are any more or less malicious than they were 20 or 30 or 50 years ago, they just have the option to be huge #######s 24 hours a day and on weekends, when before they could only do it at school.
