I'm not worried about Gaudreau and I think he made a good decision. Is it just me though or are we seeing more college free agent signings/sweepstakes this year than previously? I really worry that as the competition for free agents heats up that it will have an affect on drafted players and we'll see more and more waiting out their draft team to get to pick their destiny. After all these players have already chosen the long road, waiting a few more months is not a big deal in the bigger scheme of things.
Hanowski and Ramage will be bell-weathers in this regard for the Flames.
