Yes it was a near disaster, an offense most foul. Better men have been fired for less.
It's shocking how low to the trees this organization was flying during that week. Stunning the absolute bankruptcy of good decision making that was happening.
That this team could have fundamentally misjudged where this team was at to not only miss the technicalities but to miss the broader context.
I mean there's never clearer a case for a full scale purge of everyone in the hockey ops department.
