There's no way Gaudreau would make the flames next year. Going back to school is the right decision for him. Gives him a better opportunity to bulk up and build strength while getting an education. His stature still makes him a long shot to make the NHL.
Also, there is no way it's much easier just to finish off your degree while you at university. I don't know many people who have left part way through College and gone back to do the same thing. Even though it's possible to do this it seems like a huge pain in the ass and a lot of things change in your early twenties which might not make it possible/desirable to go back and get your degree.
Maybe if Warrener had more than a 9th grade education he would see the value in getting an education and not make asinine comments about Johnny Hockey being scared to play against men.
