There is no doubt in anyone's minds that the Flames will want to sign him. The best play is to honour the player's wishes & wait for him to finish his college career on his terms. None of this should be taken as a reluctance on the Flames' part to sign Gaudreau.
Jonny Gaudreau, Bill Arnold & the rest of the Eagles have a score to settle for next season considering how they had such a disappointing end of the season. If they win the Frozen Four next year Gaudreau may have proven everything he wants to prove & turn pro. Any luck & he'll have a growth spurt too!
