I think the Iginla comparision is fair after my extensive Youtube scouting

. But I do think Barkov has more crease presence than Iginla. He goes right into the dangerous areas... Iginla didn't really do that too much. Obviously Iginla is a winger though. It's quite funny seeing 17 year old Barkov in the crease with a bunch of 25-35 year olds pushing and hitting him, and it doesn't bother him at all.
Another thing I like about Barkov is that he doesn't showboat at all. He is so professional and grounded for a teenaged player these days. You can also see that his teamates respect him.
